Mitch is a graduate of the University of Saskatchewan, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy in 2005. During his time at the U of S, he was a competitive varsity distance runner—an experience that shaped his lasting passion for endurance sports and performance-focused rehabilitation.

In 2011, Mitch opened McInnes Physiotherapy with the goal of delivering evidence-based, hands-on care in a welcoming, one-on-one setting.

He became a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT) in 2012, a designation requiring extensive post-graduate training, mentorship, and internationally recognized exams. He is also a senior instructor with the Orthopaedic Division’s post-graduate education program, mentoring physiotherapists pursuing advanced manual therapy certification.

Mitch integrates manual therapy, dry needling, and strength and conditioning into treatment to address biomechanical imbalances and restore optimal function. He has a special interest in running-related injuries, gait analysis, and helping athletes return to sport stronger than before.

Outside the clinic, Mitch enjoys trail running, training for marathons, and exploring the outdoors with his dog, Otis.

Daniel grew up in Saskatoon playing a wide range of sports including hockey, baseball, football, golf, and basketball. He went on to play collegiate baseball with the NCAA Newman Jets in Wichita, Kansas, where he earned Academic All-American honors while completing a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He later returned to Saskatchewan to complete his Master of Physical Therapy at the University of Saskatchewan.

Daniel has a strong interest in sports rehabilitation, strength and conditioning, and post-operative care. Drawing from his own athletic background, he has a particular passion for sport-specific screening and performance testing, especially for baseball athletes. He uses tools like force plates and dynamometry to objectively assess strength, movement patterns, and injury risk—allowing him to design targeted rehab and training programs that reflect the unique demands of each sport.

He has worked with the Saskatoon Valkyries, Baseball Sask, and the Sports Medicine and Science Council of Saskatchewan. Daniel is Sport First Responder certified and has completed courses within the Canadian Physiotherapy Association’s Advanced Integrated Musculoskeletal (AIM) program.

Outside of the clinic, Daniel enjoys playing hockey, golf, squash, and spending time at the lake with family and friends.
